And seeing as the German tattoo artist has been covered in ink for decades, the transformation was a dramatic one.
The influencer shared the before and after pictures with her 703,000 followers – and added she doesn’t have any snaps from before she got inked.
She said: “For those who asked… I don’t have any pics without tattoos. I started my journey 20 years ago.”
The post has garnered more than 21,000 likes – and her fans think she looks stunning with or without tattoos.
Mara asked followers which version of herself, tattooed or bare-skinned, would they invite around to their family’s house for dinner.
She wrote: “Which one would you choose for dinner with mum?”
One commenter remarked: “Definitely the left! I want to impress my mum with a unique woman.”
